Rabbi Aha

R. Acha from Lydda was an amora of the fourth generation in Palestine (4th post-Christian century), and later in Tiberias, pupil of Jose b. Hanina and Tanhum bar Hiyya, teacher of the Huna b. Abin.

He was a recognized Halachist, enjoyed greater recognition, however, in the field of Aggadah.
