Racer (simulator)

Racer is a free cross-platform racing simulator for Linux, Mac OS and Windows that uses an OpenGL engine. Racer puts much emphasis on the driving physics and can be extended by additional courses (at least 60 available) and cars (at least 200 available). An editor for creating your own routes exist as well. Racer can be played over the network with other people.

Up to version 0.5.0 the game including the source code was released, however, incompatible under an open -source or free software license. For later versions of the source code is not publicly available. The game content is free software distributed under different licenses.
