Rachad

Rachad ( Arabic رشاد ) is an Algerian socio- political movement that fundamentally rejects the prevailing since independence Algerian military regime and seeking a peaceful political transition in Algeria. She sees herself as a movement " for the rule of law and good governance in Algeria ".

Foundation

Rachad was founded on 18 April 2007 by some Algerian regime opponents, including Abbas Aroua, Rachid Mesli, Mohamed Samraoui, the Algerian diplomat Mohamed Larbi Ex - Zitout and MIT graduate student Mourad Dhina. They all form the current Secretariat and the Board's motion with a head office in London and live in exile.

Objectives

The movement advocates especially for a departure from the current practices of the Algerian regime, including understanding the movement " the escalation of militarism, the restriction of liberty, the political exclusion, the abuse of rights, and economic and social decline and the identity crisis." In addition, the targets range the Rachad of the establishment of the rule of law in Algeria, about the equality of all citizens up for guaranteeing the transparency of the public sector.
