Rachel Joyce (triathlete)

Rachel Joyce ( born June 16, 1978) is a British triathlete, multiple Ironman champion (2011, 2013), European champion (2012 ) and World Champion on the long distance ( 2011).

Career

In 2006 she was in her age group world champion at Ironman 70.3 Florida (1.8 km swim, 55 km cycling and 12 km running). In May 2011, she took on Lanzarote 's first win at the Ironman distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running). Rachel Joyce was until the end of 2011 a member of the Abu Dhabi Triathlon Team.

In July 2012, she was in Roth Triathlon European Champion on the long distance. At Ironman Hawaii 2013 she was vice-world champion in October.

She lives and trains today in Boulder (Colorado).
