Rachel Roberts (actress)

Rachel Roberts ( born September 20, 1927 in Llanelli, Wales, † November 26, 1980 in Los Angeles ) was a British actress.

She was in her first marriage (1955-1961) with Alan Dobie and his second wife (1962-1972) married to Rex Harrison.

Her film debut was in J. Lee Thompson's film, The Weak and the Wicked. In 1964 she was nominated for Alluring Laurel (1963 ) for an Oscar. She was known among other things in 1974 with her ​​portrayal in the film adaptation of Agatha Christie Murder on the Orient Express and the lead role in the successful Australian film Picnic at Hanging Rock.
