Rachel Smith

Rachel Renee Smith ( born April 18, 1985 in Panama) is an American beauty queen.

The brunette Smith was elected on 23 March 2007 at the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles for the Miss USA 2007 and won against 50 competitors. It replaced the afflicted with scandals predecessor Tara Conner.

Rachel Smith grew up in Clarksville, Tennessee and graduated from Belmont University in Nashville, where she achieved a degree in journalism in 2006. She then completed an internship in the production company of talk show host Oprah Winfrey. She also volunteers his time in her native Tennessee in several clubs. For a month, she took care of disadvantaged black school children in South Africa.
