Rachid Mohamed Rachid

Rashid Mohamed Rashid (Arabic رشيد محمد رشيد, DMG Rashid Muhammad Rashid, born 1955 in Alexandria ) is an Egyptian politician. He worked from 2004 until the revolution in Egypt in 2011, of which he was dismissed in the course, trade and industry minister of his country in the Cabinet Nazif.

On February 4, 2011 he was forbidden to leave at the request of the public prosecutor and frozen his bank accounts.

Career

Rasheed Mohammed Rasheed inherited his father a controlling interest in the corporation Fine Foods. Unilever exchange 1991 this majority stake in Fine Foods for shares of Unilever and Rasheed was CEO of Unilever for Egypt, North Africa, the Middle East and Turkey. His executive position at Unilever rested for the duration of his ministerial office.
