Racquetball

Racquetball ( also outdated racket tennis ) is a counting to the check -playing ball sport that is related with both tennis and squash. Racquetball is played today according to the German Racquetball Association of approximately 30 million people around the world.

The sport was developed by tennis players in the U.S. in the late 1920s. They used American handball courts for winter training. After 1950, the perforated wooden bat originally used for the game have been replaced by strung rackets.

The Racquetball used is a joyful spring hollow rubber ball, slightly smaller than a tennis ball. Racquetball is played today in a normalized Court of 12.192 m long and 6.096 m wide. As with the squash the opposing players use the pitch together and play the ball over the front wall back. The side and back walls of the court can be used for strategic placement of the ball.
