Radiant (software)

Radiant is a free content management system ( Community ) creation of websites, which is based on the web framework Ruby on Rails. Since January 2007, a port exists for PHP.

The user interface includes three core components: pages, snippets and layouts. Pages ( Websites) harboring the content to be published, and may consist of several parts, such as a sidebar. Content to be displayed at various locations can be saved as a snippet ( snippet ). Layouts determine the exact structure of a Web page.

Some other possibilities of Radiant also has its own macro language, the radius Template Language, which is to embed example, content in a Web page or can display content conditionally.
