Radik Zhaparov

Radik Schaparow ( Kazakh Радик Жапаров; born 29 February 1984 in Alma- Ata ) is a Kazakhstani ski jumper.

Career

Schaparow established itself since the 2006/2007 season as the undisputed number 1 of the Kazakhstan Association. On 13 March 2007, he reached eleventh place in Kuopio his best result in the World Cup and at the same time the best result for Kazakhstan since the dissolution of the Soviet Union. A few days later he was able to confirm with 14th place in Oslo this performance almost. A certain proportion of these successes had certainly collaboration with Joachim Wintry, who worked at this time as a coach in Kazakhstan.

In the overall World Cup in 2007, he reached for the first time in the top 50 with 55 points, he was listed at the end of 45th place.
