With the enactment of Law 223/1990 (also known as Legge Mammí ) in 1990 requested Cecchetto admission as a local radio station for Lombardy, after he had already applied for a national license for the other under his supervision station Radio Deejay. After leaving Radio Deejay Cecchetto realized that the station would have to achieve through regional or better yet, national, spread to become the market leader and embarked on a search for a radio station that had already received a license to broadcast nationally, to then to take over. The mid-1990s he was with Radio Centro Toscana SpA (Editor of Gamma Radio Network ) is a group of channels that had already applied for local and national licenses, but decided the spread had for the time being but promote locally. The national license was bought by Capital Radio, without accepting the other transmitter or its brand name. Therefore, he sold to the Capital Radio Elemedia company of L' Espresso group, which had previously been acquired shares in Radio Deejay, and then start the new station with a significant improvement in the areas of transfer of technology and media presence.
