Radio Day

The day the radio ( Russian День радио ) is a former Soviet and now Russian Remembrance Day.

It is celebrated since 1945 annually on May 7 and refers to the first successful demonstration of a radio transmission, on 25 Apriljul. / May 7 1895greg. by Alexander Popov in Saint Petersburg.
