Radio Goethe

Radio Goethe is produced by Arndt Peltner radio broadcast, which is now broadcast on over 40 radio stations especially in the U.S. and Canada, but also in Eastern Europe and Namibia. In it is almost exclusively transmitted music of bands from Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The largest share represents the German -language music, but also English German bands will be presented to the listeners.

History

Radio Goethe has been on air since 1996. At first it was every Thursday evening from college station at the University of San Francisco, KUSF, broadcast, the young audiences in California is especially popular and reaches several hundred thousand listeners. Given the huge success initially, various other college stations in the U.S. and Canada participated in the sequence the program into their programs, later followed by other radio stations.
