Radio Libertaire

Radio Libertarian ( libertarian German Radio ) is the Paris-based radio station of the French Anarchist Federation (Fédération anarchiste ). Libertarian Radio is the oldest existing anarchist radio in the world. In Paris Radio Libertarian is broadcast via FM radio and worldwide as Internet radio.

Program

Libertarian Radio is operated by approximately 150 to 200 volunteer activists, funded by donations and does not send advertising. The culture of debate and collaboration in this radio also is not open in the Fédération anarchiste organized initiatives, organizations and individuals. The 24 - hour program with nightly six-hour repetition consists of music and cultural shows, talks, information and satire shows.

Libertarian radio is one of the few radio stations around the world that have a mission in the planned language Esperanto in the program regularly. Radio Espéranto from the environment of Sennacieca Asocio Tutmonda sends a weekly half -hour, bilingual program (Esperanto / in French ). The esperantist and SAT activist Yves Peyraut was one of the founders of the transmitter.

History

Libertarian Radio was founded in May 1981 a long debate within the Fédération anarchiste. On September 1, 1981 took six people from a small, damp cellar in Montmartre official time operation.

In 1983, the French government adopted a new regulation of the broadcast bands. Many radio stations, including Radio Libertarian, the send operation was prohibited.
