Radio-Televisão Timor Leste

Radio Televisão Timor Leste ( RTTL; German: Radio Timor-Leste ) is the state broadcaster of East Timor.

Radio

The radio program is running under the name Radio Timor- Leste ( RTL). Posted 34 programs are in Portuguese, Tetum and Bahasa Indonesia to 16 hours per day. Seven percent of the radio program comes from external sources, the rest is produced by our own staff of 57.

TV

Televisão de Timor Leste ( TVTL, in Portuguese ), or Televizaun Timor Lorosae ( in Tetum ), the television arm of RTTL. In addition to self-produced programs, offers TVTL news from the Portuguese RTP Internacional, the Australian Australia Network by ABC World News and the British BBC. In September 2008, agreed to a collaboration with the Brazilian TV Globo.

Productions

Own productions often serve the development of the local population. Thus, an animated series on the history of East Timor and a soap opera, which took up the topic of family planning, is produced.
