Radisleben is a district of the city Ballenstedt in the district of Harz, in Saxony- Anhalt.

The village lies on the northeastern edge of the resin, between Aschersleben and Blankenburg ( Harz).

History

964 Radisleben was first mentioned. The St. Stephani Church was founded 810. It is the local landmark. The church fell into disrepair in the 20th century and was rebuilt after the turn.

On 1 January 2010, until then independent municipality Radisleben was incorporated into the city Ballenstedt. The coat of arms shows a fruit-bearing tree.

On the previous Domänenhof, a former Duke of Anhalt State domain, there is an integrative natural therapeutic daycare.

Memorial

  • Memorial stone and graves in the local cemetery for five (presumably Poland ) concentration camp prisoners who were killed in April 1945 during a death march from KZ Long -Zwieberge, a subcamp of the Buchenwald concentration camp by SS men.

Radisleben is located north of state road 185, the Harzgerode with Dessau connects via Aschersleben and Bernburg.
