Radisson Hotels
Radisson Blu (formerly Radisson SAS ) is an international hotel chain in the four- to five- star segment, which operates hotels in Europe, Africa and Asia.
It is a subsidiary of the Rezidor Hotel Group is based in Brussels, which in turn is part of Carlson Companies. Carlson operates in the U.S. sister chain called Radisson. To chain includes a total of 275 hotels and projects in 50 countries.
Until 2005 it belonged to the majority of the SAS Group, the parent company of SAS Scandinavian Airlines, and operated under the name Radisson SAS. After the complete takeover by Rezidor it has been operating since February 2009 under the present name.
Known homes
Typical of Radisson Blu Hotel are the towers, but also some traditional houses were taken over by the chain, such as the Gewandhaus Hotel in Dresden, and the Black Bock in Wiesbaden. More Radisson Blu is available in Germany in Berlin, Bremen, Cottbus, Dortmund, Dusseldorf, Erfurt, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Hannover, Karlsruhe, Cologne, Leipzig, Rostock, Neubrandenburg and Trent Rügen.
One of the most famous houses, the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Copenhagen. A hotel of the chain is also in the Tour du Crédit Lyonnais in Lyon.
