Radmila Å ekerinska

Radmila Sekerinska ( in Cyrillic: Радмила Шекеринска; since 2006, Radmila Sekerinska Jankovska, born June 10, 1972 in Skopje) is a Macedonian politician. From 2006 to 2008 she was President of the Socialist Party of Macedonia ( SDSM ).

She studied electrical engineering at the University of Skopje, where he worked as a research assistant until 2002. She was elected to the City Council of Skopje in 1996, and since 1998 it belongs to the Macedonian Parliament. As in 2002, consisting of the SDSM and several smaller parties, electoral alliance Za Makedonija zaedno won the parliamentary election ( Together for Macedonia), she became Deputy Prime Minister. Became Prime Minister Branko Crvenkovski, who resigned on 12 May 2004 to take up the post of President. To hold office until his successor Hari Kostov on June 12, 2004, she spent a month as acting Prime Minister, and again after Kostovs resignation on November 3, 2004 to the inauguration of Vlado Bučkovski on 15 December 2004.

On November 5, 2006, she was elected party leader of the SDSM. This office she held until September 2008, her successor was Zoran Zaev.

She married in September 2006, the Managing Director of the Macedonian branch of Diners Club, Bozidar Jankovski, and is the mother of a daughter born in 2010.
