Radney Foster

Radney Foster ( born July 20, 1959 in Del Rio, Texas ) is a country music singer and songwriter.

Life

The lawyer son Radney Foster decided in 1985 to interrupt his studies for a year to play in Nashville country music. He first worked as a waiter before he got a job as a songwriter with a music publisher. Here he worked with Bill Lloyd. Together they wrote a top 10 song for the Sweethearts Of The Rodeo. In 1987, the duo under the name Foster And Lloyd a recording contract with the RCA label. There were three albums and several successful singles produced before 1991 separated.

Foster worked on alone and brought the 1992 Arista label released his first solo album, Del Rio, Texas, 1959, out which only contained his own compositions. There have been several successful singles were released, of which Nobody Wins reached number two on the country charts. His second album, Labor Of Love was released in 1995. Though of recognized high quality, the sales figures were unsatisfactory. In 2002, Foster, incidentally, one of the few who wear glasses among the Country artists, to a smaller label.
