History

The company Rado was originally founded as clockwork factory Schlup & Co. in 1917 in Lengnau by the brothers Schlup and entered into the first decades solely as Rohwerkeproduzent. In 1937 the Rado Watch Co. Ltd.. established as a subsidiary in the same house; another brand of watches the watch factory Schlup was of about the beginning of the 1940s until 1957 Exacto.
