Radosav Petrović (Serbian Cyrillic - Радосав Петровић; born March 8, 1989 in Ub, SFR Yugoslavia) is a Serbian footballer who at Turkish first division club Gençlerbirliği Ankara is under contract since 2012 and plays for the Serbian national football team.

Career

Association

Radosav Petrović was born in the former Yugoslav town of Ub and began his career at local club Jedinstvo Ub before Radnički Obrenovac joined in 2007. Serbian giants Partizan Belgrade became aware of the 1.93 meter tall midfielder Through his good services, and bound him in 2008 with a five-year contract in itself. Already in the first season at Partizan he became a regular player and helped the team from Belgrade to the league and cup double.

On 9 August 2011, he moved to Blackburn Rovers in the English Premier League and signed a four-year contract.

For the season 2012/13 he moved to the Turkish Süper Lig on Gençlerbirliği Ankara.

National

Radosav Petrović played three times for the Serbian U21 national team before making his debut in the senior team was in a 3-1 win against South Africa on August 12, 2009. He stood in the squad of Serbia for the Football World Cup 2010 in South Africa where he played a match against Germany in the group stage, which Serbia won 1-0.
