The Rae River is a tributary of the Coronation Gulf in the territory of Nunavut in the far north of Canada.

The Rae River rises 20 kilometers east of the Bluenose Lake at an altitude of 500 m. He initially flows in a south-southeast direction. He then turns and 60 kilometers to the east and flows further 120 km to its mouth about 30 km west of Kugluktuk in the Richardson Bay, an inlet of Coronation Gulf. The Rae River has a length of about 180 km.

The Rae River was named in honor of the Scottish polar explorer John Rae.
