Raemon Sluiter

Raemon Sluiter ( born April 13, 1978 in Rotterdam ) is a former Dutch tennis player.

Career

Its highest ranking in the world ranking was number 46 on 24 February 2003. He won ten tournaments during his career, but not one on the ATP Tour. He was elected three times in a row Sportsman of the Year in Rotterdam. He ended his career in early 2008 to position 171 in the world rankings. In 2009 he returned to the tournament in Den Bosch back on the ATP tour, for which he had received a wild card. He reached there, placed in the world ranking at position 866, completely surprising the final, which he lost to Benjamin Becker. He is the lowest-ranked player in history who has ever reached a final of the ATP Tour.
