Rafael Montiel

Rafael Anibal Montiel Cuellar ( born June 28, 1981 in Bogotá ) is a Colombian cyclist.

Rafael Montiel was 2005 third stage in the Vuelta Ciclista a la Republica del Ecuador. In the 2006 season he won podium places on the stages of the tour Clasica de Fusagasuga, Vuelta a Colombia and Clásico RCN. Since 2007, Montiel goes for the Colombian Continental Team Colombia It Pasion. In the Vuelta a El Salvador, he celebrated his first stage victory and ended the tour on the tenth place overall.

During the Vuelta a Colombia in 2008, where Montiel a stage victory celebrated, he was tested positive for doping and locked until May 2010.
