Raffaella Reggi

Raffaella Reggi ( born November 27, 1965 in Faenza ) is a former Italian tennis player.

Career

Raffaella Reggi won in their professional career five WTA tournaments in singles and four in doubles.

In 1986, she secured with Sergio Casal mixed- title at the U.S. Open, and thus the first Grand Slam title for Italy.

At the Olympic Games in Seoul in 1988 and Barcelona in 1992 Reggi played each in singles and doubles for Italy. In the demonstration tournament in the 1984 Olympics in Los Angeles, she won the bronze medal in singles.

From 1982 to 1992 Raffaella Reggi played for the Italian Fed Cup team. Your personal balance sheet: 14:6 victories in singles and 4:9 in a double.
