History

The beginnings of the Ragamuffin breed date back to the early 1960 's, when Ann Baker in California dealt intensively with the "development" of various new cat breeds. These cats were so kind and gentle that she described this group as " cherubim " (angels). So many cat breeds, of which up to now the ragdolls that Miracle Ragdolls and the Honey Bears have received arisen. In the early 1970s, a first group of Ann Baker broke and registered their cats in the major cat breed clubs. They are now considered the "modern ragdolls " known.

Another group broke up in 1994 by Ann Baker and the former terms and conditions accordingly, they gave their cats a different name: Ragamuffin
