Raging Bull (roller coaster)

Raging Bull at Six Flags Great America ( Gurnee, Illinois) is a steel roller coaster model from hyper coaster manufacturer Bolliger & Mabillard, opened on 1 May 1999.

It is 62 m high, has a top speed of 118 km / h and with a length of 1541 m is the longest roller coaster in the park. Likewise, it is North America's first roller coaster in the category Hyper- Twister.

The name Raging Bull refers to a wild monster that terrorized the inhabitants of the old Southwest Territory.

The products manufactured by B & M Hyper Coaster have in principle always a route of type " Out & Back", which means that removing the moves on an approximately straight line from a point, then turn around and return to the starting point again. Raging Bull is the only track on which it is not.

In 2008, the train got a new coat of paint.

Raging Bull has three trains with nine cars. In each car four people can (a series ) take place. Passengers must be at least 1.37 m tall to ride allowed. As a lap bar restraint system are used.
