Rahman Rezaei

Rahman Rezaei ( born February 20, 1975 in Nūr ) is an Iranian football player.

Career

Rahman Rezaei began his professional career at Zob Ahan Isfahan. After five compelling seasons in the highest Iranian league and good performances in the dress of the national team, he joined the 2001/02 season abroad to AC Perugia in the Italian Serie A. He remained there for two seasons until it it the 2003/04 season for FC Messina moved. In his first season at Messina he achieved promotion to the Serie A. After three successful seasons, he moved to the 2006/07 season for AS Livorno, where he came infrequently used.

His national team debut came in 2001 against the selection of Bosnia-Herzegovina. At the 2006 World Cup, he was a key player in Iran, however, could not fulfill the hope that is put into it. Rather Rezaei has been criticized for his errors that do not rarely led to goals against. In April 2007, he gave after the disappointing Asian Cup 2007 announced his retirement from the national team known. In December 2007, Rezaei announced his international retirement and takes part with his country in the qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup.
