Ráðhús Reykjavíkur

The City Council of Reykjavík ( Isl rådhus Reykjavík ) is on a lake Tjörnin in the center of the Icelandic capital Reykjavík on the edge of the old town.

The Town Hall was designed by the architect firm Studio Granda and built 1987-1992 in exposed concrete construction. It consists of two buildings. One of the entrances to the east can be reached via a bridge over the Tjörnin.

In addition to the City Council, the building houses a besichtigbares 3D relief model Islands. Occasionally, the premises are also used for exhibitions.
