Railpool

Pool Rail GmbH and Rail Pool Holding GmbH & Co. KG, based in Munich will be the pool Rail Group, which was founded in July 2008, leasing companies of locomotives and rolling stock for freight and passenger traffic. Shareholder with 50% each, the KfW IPEX- Bank and HSH Nordbank. In May 2012, the partners announced that they want to sell Rail pool.

Fleet

Rail pool has different series of Bombardier TRAXX locomotives. The end of 2010 were ordered by Rail Pool launch customer of Siemens Vectron locomotives of the type; were delivered of which the first in November 2012. With the planned for 2014 deliveries Pool Rail operates approximately 100 electric locomotives, mainly for cross -border freight traffic. Furthermore Rail Pool rented in the area of passenger transport 45 Bombardier TWINDEXX double-deck coaches to the Danish State Railways DSB and 8 EMUs type Stadler GTW to Veolia in the Netherlands.
