Raisio
Raisio [ rɑi̯siɔ ] ( Finnish), Swedish Reso, is a city in south-western Finland. It is a north-western suburb of the city of Turku.
Raisio is a sister city of Elmshorn.
The earliest known record of the settlement of the region dates from the year 1292, and there is evidence that here already in the Iron Age people lived. The Church of Raisio dates from the early 16th century. 1974 Raisio was declared a city.
