RAK Airways

RAK Airways (Arabic طيران رأس الخيمة Tairan Ra ʾ s al -Khaimah, Ra ʾ s al DMG Ṭayrān - Hayma ) was the airline of the Emirate of Ras al -Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates with base at the airport Ra's al -Khaimah.

History

RAK Airways was established in February 2006 and first flew Beirut, Colombo, Sofia, Dhaka, Chittagong and Kozhikode on. End of 2008, a one scheduled operations and flew after that only charter. 2010 was a change of management since the company offered again scheduled flights.

On 31 December 2013 RAK Airways announced their immediate interim cessation of economic considerations.

Destinations

RAK Airways operated from their home base, the airport Ra's al -Khaimah, in the line of traffic mainly aims in the Middle East and Asia. These were Cairo, Chittagong, Dhaka, Kozhikode, Doha, Lahore, Peshawar, Jeddah and Bangkok. Nearby destinations like the neighboring Dubai were also served with coaches.
