Rakhine people

The Arakanese ( other names: Rakhine, Maghi, Morma, Yakan, Yakhaing, Rakhain, Mogh, Magh, Marma, Mosh ) are a minority in Myanmar (about 730,000 ), Bangladesh ( 200,000 ), India, and possibly China. They are Buddhists.

The language is a dialect of the Arakanese Burmese and thus belongs to the Tibeto - Burman branch of the Sino -Tibetan languages.
