The Rally Mexico is a championship round of the FIA World Rally Championship and takes place in the same country.
History and route
The Rally Mexico is based on the 1979 Rally America launched. Since 2004 she is discharged as a World Championship race. Starting point and destination is the city of León in the state of Guanajuato. It concerns with her about the first 100-percent gravel rally of the championship season. In the special stage from Ortega to La Esperanza, the drivers drive up to an altitude of 2737 meters. This simultaneously represents the height record for the World Rally Championship season
