Rally Poland
The Rally Poland is a motorsport event that takes place in Poland since 1921. She was part of the World Rally Championship ( WRC) and the Rally Championship (ERC ). Since 2005, the rally was organized on the Masurian Lake District in the Warmia - Mazury.
History
The Rally Poland is next to the Monte Carlo Rally one of the oldest events in rallying. In 1921 races were held on dirt roads. 1973 and 2009 hosted the WRC ( World Rally Championship ) in Poland. 2014 is the king back in Poland and replaces the Rally Greece. Armin Hot Bold, with co-driver Jean Todt, the WRC Rally in 1973 and Hirvonen won in 2009.
Routing and conditions
The Rally Poland is mainly on gravel roads. Particularly challenging is the only night - special stage over 2.5 Kilotmeter. 2014 for the first time also driven four tests in the neighboring Lithuania. The " Super Special Stage" will be held under the lights in the arena of Mikołajki. In some WPs hard soft on other tires are needed.
