Ralph Gunesch
Ralph Gunesch ( born September 2, 1983 in Sighişoara, Romania ) is a German football player.
Career
The native Transylvanian Saxon plays since his childhood in Germany, first at small clubs in the greater Aachen, from 1999 in the junior division Alemannia Aachen. For the Alemannia the center-back completed two games in the second division before moving to FC St. Pauli 2003. The hamburgers Gunesch was a regular player at 20 years and graduated in three seasons, 84 games in the Regionalliga Nord. In the season 2005/ 06 he reached the semi-finals of the DFB - Pokal.
During the summer break in 2006 Gunesch moved to Bundesliga 1 FSV Mainz 05, in which he first served as a reservist behind Manuel Friedrich and Nikolce Noveski. On 16 September 2006 he made his debut as a replacement for the injured Friedrich in the Bundesliga.
On 19 June 2007 changed Gunesch, among fans because of his affinity for cars as " rims Rail " known, at his own request back to FC St. Pauli. In the winter of 2012 he left the FC St. Pauli and moved on to league rivals FC Ingolstadt 04
Gunesch played eight times for the German U-20 national team.
