Raluca Strămăturaru

Raluca Strămăturaru ( born November 22, 1985 in Sinaia, Prahova County ) is a Romanian luger.

The student Raluca Strămăturaru lives in Buşteni. You toboggan since 1996 and since 1999 belongs to the Romanian national team. It starts since the 2004/ 05 season in the Luge World Cup. On 2 February 2005 Strămăturaru crashed heavily during training for the World Cup Final on the Olympic track in Cesana and suffered a broken arm. The race was canceled because of it. Your best result in a single race of the World Cup as they reached 25 in Nagano in the season 2006/07. Your best result in the overall standings as they reached 26 in the same year. They also reached with the team at a race in Calgary as a result Eighth in the top eight. The same result they achieved in the following season in Nagano. In the 2006 European Championship in Winterberg she placed 27th, with the Romanian team finished ninth in singles. The Luge World Cup 2007 ended in Igls Strămăturaru on the 32nd.
