Ram Nath Chopra

Ram Nath Chopra (Hindi: राम नाथ चोपड़ा Rām Nath copra; born August 17, 1882 in Gujranwala, † June 13, 1973 in Srinagar ) was an Indian pharmacologist.

Life

RN Chopra joined in 1902 to study at the University of the Punjab from. In the winter term of 1902 he settled at Downing College, Cambridge enroll, where he in 1905 acquired its Science Tripos.

He wrote a work on the action of drugs on ciliary movement in the respiratory tract. ( Effect of drugs on the movement of the cilia of the airways ). From 1921 he was a pharmacology professor at the School of Tropical Medicine in Calcutta. From 1934-1941 he was director of the School of Tropical Medicine in Calcutta.
