Ram Swarup

Ram Swarup (Hindi: राम स्वरूप, Rām Svarup; born October 12, 1920 in Sonipat, † December 26, 1998 in Delhi ) was an Indian journalist.

Life

Ram Swarup's works exerted a major influence on other authors Sita Ram Goel, such as. His book "The Word as Revelation" is a study of polytheism. In his work " Hindu view of Christianity and Islam" Swarup has defined Islam and Christianity from the perspective of Hinduism, and compared the religions.

His work " Understanding Islam through Hadis " was 1990/91 prohibited in the original English and in Hindi version in India. The work consists mainly of extracts and quotations from the Islamic Hadiths.
