Rambler (portal)

Rambler (Russian Рамблер, but actually a anglicism in Russian, derived from the English word rambler / hiker ) is a search engine established in 1996 from Russia. To the search were in the following years more and more features connected (directory, webmail, news, forums and others).

In 2000 Rambler crossed the border of one billion search requests. For a long time is one of the market leaders within the Russian -speaking world Rambler in Web search.
