Ramesh Sippy

Ramesh Sippy Gopaldas (* November 24, 1947 in Karachi or Bombay ) is an Indian film director and producer. He came through his father, the producer Gopaldas Parmanand Sippy, the movie business and directed the Bollywood classic Sholay (1975).

Biography

After the partition of India in 1947 came Sippys family from the province of Sindh to Bombay.
