Ramona is a place in San Diego County in the U.S. state of California. He had about 16,400 inhabitants in 2004. The urban area has a size of 39.6 km ². Originally called the Nuevo. It is located at the intersection of California State Route 67 to the California State Route 78

The city is the birthplace of John Hopkins, a motorcycle racer.
