Ramose (TT55)

Ramose was an Egyptian vizier, who Amenhotep III. Akhenaten and officiated. He comes from an influential family. His father Heby was perhaps Mayor of Memphis. His brother Amenhotep was a senior asset manager in Memphis, which represented one of the most influential positions at court.

Ramose is known by various monuments and underneath this, especially his Theban grave ( TT55 ), whose grave chapel is equipped with reliefs and paintings. In the reliefs of both rulers are displayed, under which Ramose served. Here Amenhotep III found. and Akhenaten, which is already shown in the typical style of his reign.
