Ramsey County (North Dakota)

Ramsey County is a county located in the state of North Dakota in the United States. The administrative headquarters ( County Seat) is Devils Lake.

Geography

The County is located in the central northeastern North Dakota and has an area of ​​3369 square kilometers, of which 301 square kilometers are water surface. It is bordered clockwise to the following counties: Cavalier County, Walsh County, Nelson County, Benson County and Towner County.

History

The Ramsey County was formed in 1873. It was named for Alexander Ramsey, a U.S. Senator from Minnesota.
