Ramune

Ramune (Japaneseラムネ) is a Japanese carbonated soft drink. It was first produced in 1876 by Alexander Cameron Sim in Kobe.

The taste is very similar to a lemonade. The word Ramune is derived phonetically from the English word lemonade. Striking is the ancient ball catch, which was spread around the world in 1900 and is now used only for Ramune and the Indian Banta. In the bottle, a glass marble- like ball is located (see photo), which serves as a cork. To open the bottle it is pressed into the bottle. Initially, the drinking can be difficult, because the marble often blocked by the unusual handling the liquid. Known Ramune - based drinks include lychee, strawberry, melon and citrus flavor.

In German-speaking one meets Ramune most likely in Asia shops at which to import the drink.

Ramune is made exclusively of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), due to the " business -regulation law" ( bun'ya - Chosei- hō ) the large company essentially prohibited to penetrate the market of SMEs.
