Ramzi Abid

Ramzi Abid ( born March 24, 1980 in Montreal, Quebec ) is a Canadian - British ice hockey player who is since December 2013 at Grizzly Adams Wolfsburg under contract. Abid's father is from Tunisia and his mother is of Scottish origin, which is why he also has British citizenship.

Career

Abid began in 1996 his career in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League with the Chicoutimi Sagueneens and reached the finals with the team to the Memorial Cup. NHL Entry Draft 1998, he was selected by the Colorado Avalanche in the second round to 28th. Then he moved to in de QMJHL Acadie - Bathurst Titan to, with whom he played back to the Memorial Cup.
