Ran Yunfei

Ran Yunfei ( born April 13, 1965 in Youyang, Chongqing) is a Chinese author, blogger, civil rights activist and a signatory of the Charter 08 It belongs to the minority of Tu on.

Arrest and release

Because of his participation in peaceful protests in China, he was arrested on February 20, 2011. On 10 August 2011, he was set free, but is in his hometown of Chengdu under house arrest.
