Randall L. Stephenson

Lynn Randall Stephenson, Jr. ( born April 22, 1960 in Oklahoma City ) is CEO of the American company AT & T.

Career

Stephenson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma and an MBA from the University of Oklahoma. In 1982, he began his professional career with the entrance at the company Southwestern Bell Telephone, one of the most under an antitrust AT & T outsourced telephone provider. In the late 1980s and early 1990s he had then held various management positions in finance. In July 2001, he was Chief Financial Officer at SBC Communications, where he managed the annual losses of nearly $ 30 billion by 2004 and an almost balanced balance sheet to reduce. In 2003 and 2004 he was CEO of the acquired in 2007 from AT & T Wireless mobile phone company Cingular Wireless. As of April 2004, he was Chief Operating Officer at SBC.
