The fourth largest lake in Norway

The edge of the fjord is the fourth largest lake in Norway and the largest in the province of Oppland. The edge of the fjord located in the municipalities Jevnaker, Gran, Nordre Land and Sondre country.

From the north, there are two tributaries: the Etna and Dokka. The fjord takes place with a maximum width of 5 km to the southern end near the village of Jevnaker.

On the banks of the two main roads run RV 245 ( west bank ) and RV 34 and RV 240 (both on the east bank ).
