The Range Creek is a tributary of the Colorado River in the United States of America and flows into the Book Cliffs in Emery County. The river is irrigated throughout the year.

He was nominated for classification as a National Wild and Scenic River.

The river has recently been known for its archaeological finds of the Fremont culture.

The land was owned by cattle rancher named Waldo Wilcox. When he saw this for the first time, he recognized the value of the land and protected it with a " No Trespassing " sign. In 2001, he sold the land to the state of Utah, but retained the rights to all mineral and energy resources. The state archaeological authorities develop a plan for the protection and study of this cultural resource. Due to its untouched the interest is correspondingly large.
